With the rough plan already settled (and the details to figure out as we go), it is high time we start sending out the call for participation to interested people and communities.

When you reach out to a community or group, please log it in this issue, so we do not duplicate work for us and spam for the recepients.

The call for participation for the HackerTrain to FOSDEM 2026 is now live!

As you may have noticed, since our beta run we have set up:

• a Matrix and IRC channel (bridged): https://hackertrain.org/contacts.html
• an organizational issue/ticket tracker: https://codeberg.org/HackerTrain

You are warmly invited to the chat and help with the website, organisation
and/or outreach ... or just tag yourself on the map to join the train :)

If you are unsure what the HackerTrain is, it is a community-led project to bring together
hackers and geeks travelling to their events (in Europe). A short intro is available on
