P.S. the animal name idea came from the fact that we used a plush duck 🦆 last year to indicate where we are meeting, so if you have a plush (or other physical) pigeon, that would be cool. I’ll update the README to explain that.

The ticket link here sets the date to 2025年12月29日 instead of 2026年01月29日.

Right, thats fun, when I change the booking date the URL doesn't change, I guess that's what happened before.

No worries. It’s just a suggestion :) As long as people on your route find together, it doesn’t matter how.

What are you doing re. the return trip? I'd guess there will be more variation in preferred return times, depending on how far beyond London people need to travel.

For myself, I'll be on the 08:52 Eurostar to London on Wednesday the 4th of February.

I won't be taking the Eurostar back, so someone else would have to organize that :)

By the way, if you are planning to take the HackerTrain from London, make sure to join the Matrix room!

Please note the railway strikes announced for Belgium, which are expected to cover 2026年01月29日. I'm still trying to find out whether Eurostar services from London will be running, cancelled, or stopped short of Brussels in Lille.

As far as I am aware, Eurostar is not affected.

Pigeon has not been cancelled, but if you are leaving on another time or day i recommend checking your booking, as some have been cancelled. Feel free to rebook on Pigeon, of course!
