I am Alvan, 25 y.o., programmer and a foss enthusiast guy. I'm studying master of science in e-government.
Would love to join you at Koblenz, if that is OK with everyone.

Only issue is this is my first time joining a hackertrain, will probably need a little help to find the train and buy a ticket, etc.

It's my first time as well. I went to our main trainstation and ask them what's the best way to get to the Brussels with train 🤓
I would suggest you to go to the trainstation and ask for the train NJ468 (I think you would join us during the night) and see when it stops at Koblenz.

When you'd join us, search for the Diplodocus. I can also let you know on which wagon we are.

@avani000 you'll probably have the easiest time with nightjet.com, oebb.at, or int.bahn.de to explore.

For the nightjet, this is the blurb the DB app gives me:

EDIT: It seems none of the options I mentioned offer a ticket from Koblenz, only from the night stops. There are also faster and cheaper options that leave at comparable times, albeit with a connection.

@AjinkyaDahale , thank you a lot for the information. Yes, that seems to be the case. interestingly, nightjet has offers for the same train, but only for Feb 9th journey.

Seems like I won't be able to join; I'll ask around at the station next week, maybe they might help.

I am joining on this train from Salzburg onwards but my Journey from Ljubljana starts at 13:30 :)
