Request for license clarification #16

I'm wondering, if someone created a fork of this project and, say, made an editor for the Bevy Engine based on it, could then users of said hypothetical Bevy Editor create commercial games with it without having to publish their source code/license it a certain way? I'm very sure the answer is yes but would love some second opinions from whoever knows things about this stuff. Thanks for reading :)

Yes, they would be! This question has been answered for GNU Emacs (which is released under the same license) here:
