Once this PR gets merged you will be able to enter no author as you expect, just not typing anything in, but if you want to input multiple authors you should separate them with commas:
Author 1,Author 2,Author 3
You can add spaces after the commas if you want, when displayed it will be shown with spaces regardless.
Additionally, you can input multi author books like this right away. They will show up weirdly in the list at first, but once this PR is merged it will look normal.
