LibreAdventure is a fork of the last freely licensed version of
WorkAdventure

https://vcs.fsf.org/?p=libreadventure.git

The map format should be compatible. Just need a LibreAdventure instance to link to.

With a glance at the fork, it seems to have a very narrow scope and is no longer really maintained.

Also, one of the main problems with WorkAdventure is that it's super heavy on resources. I cannot idle in a world and join the meeting therein without audio lag. For it being in a 2D retro spirit, it's astonishingly inefficient, and I would not use it regularly. I doubt that LibreAdventure fixes these issues.
