In Join Codeberg, payment requires IBAN-style transfers, which is tedious and tends to incur significant international wire charges for people in countries with legacy banking systems such as the US. Would it be possible to support librepay for this purpose?

Using Liberapay is not possible. Their platform is only for translations and cannot be used for membership fees. We have heard of people using platforms like https://wise.com/ to send the money, and we also offer PayPal on request. If something like this works for you, please email us at codeberg@codeberg.org.
