Given Codeberg's popularity, there are many that organize events. Most recently, I saw: https://fosstodon.org/@TroLUG/115303794707176944

However, this repository is dead; it is not used for such announcements. We should probably investigate how to revive this repository.

Ideas:

  • events.codeberg.org subdomain
  • Finding people with "loose" responsibility and delegating.
  • Announcing it over a blog or a newsletter.

I'm in for contributing and also maintaining it, here! I see regularly announcements in the fediverse, I'd be happy to add here, too.

I also like the events.codeberg.org subdomain idea.
