The pages server already supports pages for private repositories by providing an access token to the server itself. Access control for the pages themselves is out of scope, see Codeberg/pages-server!166 and Codeberg/pages-server#163

The Pages Server is not intended to work on private repositories here on Codeberg. The idea is to have the source code open and in the public, that is basically the goal of Codeberg itself.

There is a workaround to still achieve this, but I'm not going to explain it.
