enable auto account creation on oauth login #518

Would be great if one could create an account just from GitHub login. So UX would be:

  1. Click "Login with GitHub"
  2. Allow to use user data from GitHub
  3. You are logged in with your new account

It uses the e-mail github has and you can reset your password with that address if github would disappear.

Not sure if Gitea supports this workflow.

Is this just a setting to flip, or does it have negative side-effects? Can accounts created via OAuth be converted to "normal" user accounts? I suppose the issues Codeberg had earlier with OAuth are mainly fixed?

We talked about this in meetings from time to time, most recently today.

We'll try this on codeberg-test.org now, and then investigate if it's stable by now.
