Error 500 when trying to fork guix/guix #2397

Greetings,
I wanted to fork the guix/guix repository so that I can make changes and then open PRs. However, I get the error 500 when I try.

When I tried to create the fork I selected to only fork the master branch, as I didn't need the rest. I thought that this might save resources, but perhaps that causes more work?

I am quite new to all this, so apologies if I made some very obvious mistake.

Maybe it was a transient error? My quick test of forking with only the master branch worked: https://codeberg.org/mahlzahn/guix-test.

Selecting only the master branch is a good idea actually.

If the broken fork still gives you 500 error, you may probably still delete it with appending /settings to the URL, e.g., https://codeberg.org/mahlzahn/guix-test/settings

(PS to admins: also the migration to v15.next with all branches worked for me: https://v15.next.forgejo.org/mahlzahn2/guix)
