Using Codeberg to make mirrors #2243

Am I allowed to make mirrors of my github project and put them in Codeberg? I recently recieved a comment saying that it could "stress the servers".
So am I allowed?

It will mirror every ~4 hours and is just stores the code or the GitHub repo and the built version of it. This is because a contributer doesn't have access to GitHub anymore

If the project complies with Codeberg's Terms of Use (free/libre license requirement), then this is allowed. Whether it makes sense is only for you to judge, but if contributors lost access to GitHub, it seems like a valid use case for me.
