I want to file a formal complaint for abuse of power against @Gusted

I have a special need of a lot of very small repos, i'm doing a first request, @n0toose locks it with no explanation
Codeberg-e.V./requests#1145

I try again a new one, n0toose again closes it with very little explanation. I'm getting pissed now. I request for other members. Gusted denies it and locks it because i got i little rude.
Codeberg-e.V./requests#1156

I try again, Gusted blocks me completely from requests.
Codeberg-e.V./requests#1165

That's very funny, i still need more repos. They where both very sloppy and disproportionate from start to finish. Don't tell me about "volunteers" and that i'm "bad". They could have handled all this a lot better. Blocking me completely from requesting extra resources indefinitely, what the hell. For what? If i was really abusive i should have been shot in the back of my head? All this literally for a few MB of extra repos, not even 3MB. And i will never apologize.

Just unblock me from requests, raise my limit and i'm gone for a long time.

Hello,

You are asking for a ridiculous amount of resources, and the lack of LICENSE files in each individual repository is a clear violation of Codeberg's ToS. As you are not compliant with the ToS, and your use-case is arguably not well suited for Codeberg, you were expressly denied more resources on multiple occasions.

Your response in Codeberg-e.V./requests#1156 (comment) is highly inappropriate. You should never open a new issue just because you're upset about your original issue being unceremoniously closed. I also find the action of opening this issue in response to not getting your way highly inappropriate.

Honestly, your use-case would be better served by a self-hosted Forgejo instance. You can download Forgejo from https://forgejo.org/ and set it up on your own server, then the limits will be within your control.

Why did you try again after being denied? I feel like the block was fine. You didn't accept their answer, wasted their time and made a mean comment.

You should solve your issue another way. Maybe put each script in their own branch or maybe in their own foldee.

read all three of the linked issues

read all three of the linked issues

READ the issues completely

yes i started with 1000, because it's only a few kb each. Then i lowered it to 250. The 100 i have currently are >2MB (one duplicates all of them until i finished uploading them individually). Not exactly a "ridiculous amount". I actually added the licenses. You are misrepresenting the order of things. Actually read the issues again, line by line. This is extremely disproportionate and they are also precedents of similar projects on codeberg.

Be very careful there, do you really want no mechanism for appeal at all? What could go wrong. Actually that's one of my complaints, they handled this too sloppily.

precedent and very similar.

with the first issue, @n0toose immediately closed it and locked it. From that, i'm interpreting, that in fact, he didn't read my issue.

with the second @Gusted said that he was denying my request of.... CI. He didn't read anything either.

@crystal you only read part of issue 2

@Joshix you didn't read anything.

This is the fourth issue i'm opening. Can some one at last read my issues for real? And then it's my fault if i'm getting angry.

I did read all of the comments on all of the issues that you linked in the original post. Just because I didn't address each individual comment you previously posted doesn't mean I didn't read everything. This extremely unprofessional and presumptuous behavior is exactly why your issues were locked, and you were blocked from opening new issues when you didn't respect that and opened another one.

I read every single one of your issues including all the comments. I think the context makes it very clear that both @n0toose and @Gusted also read your issues. It is your fault that you're getting angry.

Forgejo (and thus Codeberg) makes it very easy to delete your data, there's no need to request this, you can do it yourself from https://codeberg.org/user/settings/account 🙂

@gedankenstuecke
I have an org with 100 repos, it seams i have to delete them one by one.

I want a final response first from who ever is qualified.

You can easily automate this task using a bash script querying Forgejo's API with an access token.
