As requested posting the issue here, seeing this is a large wip branch to keep track (and not loose) local recipes.

What's the issue? It shouldn't show a "show more" button? Is it showing the button when there are no more files?

For me there is no issue really, got a poke to report this for not being visible before? Maybe @n0toose can skip in here?

@gusted This was brought up in a social media discussion that involved myself and @Begasus, as GitHub introduced a "single-file review mode" if your diff is too large (instead of displaying everything).

Begasus made the point that we have something similar (but IMHO not of the same magnitude), but I suggested that he opens an issue here because we might e.g. wish to show more files before that button is shown.

We may also want to see if the Community has a problem with the "Show more" button and would like to see more files before the button shows up.

I am not sure if I follow, I don't see the relationship between Github's new? feature of only showing files one-by-one and us having a "show more" button in the file tree to not show all files at once.

This is too much of a theoretical for me, I'm fine with keeping this open but will close this in a few weeks or months if there's no response.

Have to mention that I didn't have the full list on the left visible, the top collapsed ones are not shown, so I don't know if there is a limit of "shown" files.
