In privacy policy update email, there is a spelling mistake in "you are receiving this.." text. If you see closely, there is a mistake in "if you are no longer interested in using Codeberg". It says "plesae", instead of "please"

I've also received this e-mail yesterday.
Don't know if it's legitimate, because the Privacy Policy has not changed in the master branch of Codeberg repo, so I've updated my credentials just in case this was some kind of phishing.
If my gut feeling is right and this really is someone impersonating Codeberg, everyone that received this e-mail should look for suspicious activity in their accounts.
It is real.

yeah we'll try not to send out an email with a typo again, but I'm pretty sure we'd have heard by now if our SMTP server had been pwned.
it is real. :)
Thanks goodness it's real, glad to be wrong in this case. :)
Most, if not all emails are send out. We'll take this feedback further internally, nothing actionable left here. Thank you for reporting this.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
