Problem:
Currently it is not possible to allow contributors to add issues to projects without giving them full write privilege to issues. Our team wanted to use the "Projects" feature as a kanban board where each contributor would add issues they're working on. Unfortunately giving them write privilege for issues also allows them to do other things like editing labels or even deleting issues. Strangely enough the write privilege for projects only allows creating projects and columns which is pretty useless without the issue privilege.
Solutions:
- Allow adding issues to projects without the write privilege for issues.
- Put adding issues for projects under the write privilege for projects.
- Add an alternative solution for kanban boars?
- Allow creating text notes in the project columns?
