Error 404 when trying to append compiled binaries to a created tag (?). #2014

How can I append a few compiled binaries to https://codeberg.org/xynix/TXT2PDF/releases/tag/v1.00.38, using a browser ?

The documentation seems to stop at the level of that page.

With rather bad translations at the website, I can "edit release" and upload a ZIP file containing an EXE, but in the end that results in a HTML 404 error after pressing a "Edit release-button.

To avoid steep learning curves, it could be better to expand the documentation with appending more files to a 'tag', if possible. Now it's not clear what data to fill in, for example, also due to poor transalated texts.

If uploading of ZIP'ped bninaries is not allowed, or too difficult, that's fine with me, but that's make Codeberg less popular amongst home users.

Please do NOT append the attached binary to the 'tag'. I want to know how to do that myself. I've attached, just so that it can be checked, if needed. Who knows, and is the missing 404-page referring to some virus or illegal file name...

Hi,

You are seeing forgejo/forgejo#3589. You first have to create a release before you can edit it as a release.
