Codeberg blocked in Pakistan #2007

For the past 6 months or so, codeberg is inaccessible in Pakistan. Requests from any browser or cURL are reset. But if I turn on a VPN or use Tor, the website loads instantly.

I've tested this on multiple devices and multiple ISPs, as well as online tools like CheckHTTP.

I'm unsure if ISPs are blocking Codeberg, or whether Codeberg is blocking all requests from Pakistan as some sort of security measure.

We're not blocking anything based on regions. We have blocked some IP networks that have had massive crawling, but they have all been checked to not be advertized as residential addresses.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess the only other option is my ISP or the Pakistani government is blocking Codeberg 🤔. Though I can't fathom why any government would view Codeberg as a threat....

It is possible that some repository might contain contents that is illegal or not allowed in Pakistan. Codeberg also gets added to blocklists from time to time for such reasons. It is possible that your ISP uses such blocklists.
