I use ssh commit signing but that is not recognized in the UI. There is an older issue #946 that addresses this issue.

You can find "SSH keys that have been verified can be used to verify SSH-signed Git commits." in the UI here: https://codeberg.org/user/settings/keys

I assumed that ssh keys would then be recognized.

What is the current state, will this be implemented in the future?

Hi, did you verify your SSH key? Otherwise please link the commit that should be shown as verified with a SSH key.

I just saw that I can verify my key here: https://codeberg.org/user/settings/keys
Now I have done that but the commits are still not shown as verified. I created a new test repo (https://codeberg.org/cwansart/sign-test/commits/branch/main) to check for new commits but they are also not signed.

The committer has a email address that is not added to your user-account, specifically cwansart@users.noreply.github.com as far as I am aware it is not possible to add such email address to a user.

Oh, I see, that makes sense. Then I guess this can be closed.
