I'm finally back and probably found the actual reason: uppercase in email is unsupported but not refused at register time

finally solution: add regex rule to enforce lowercase in email address at every place an email could be added(registering page, account settings, oauth create new account...)

Uppercase email should work, there are several issues about it not working. It has likely to do with a case collation issue that we are still tracking down. There are already some other open issues about it this problem, closing.
