Not receiving notification emails anymore #1943

I have email notifications enabled (and since I am watching multiple repositories from @forgejo I usually receive emails quite frequent). But since ~12 hours ago I stopped receiving such emails although I do have new notifications in the app.

According to the status page Codeberg moved Forgejo to another server (suspecting a hardware issue with a nvme slot from the previous server). I guess this infrastructure change might have broken some emails sending configuration.

@fnetX confirmed (in a Matrix room) that there was some issue causing mail delivery to be broken but meanwhile this was solved and I started to receive emails; so I'm closing this.

Reopening since the issue is back. The most recent email that reached my inbox is from ~12 hours ago.

I think this is permanently fixed now. Was related to me missing that the config was overriden in another place. Codeberg-Infrastructure/scripted-configuration@137cf0ae4a
