I just tried to upload my new avatar. I encountered two errors - first, the file was too large in size (kbs), and then it was too large in size (pixels). Both of those requirements could have been made explicit before I attempted to upload a file. It would have saved me time and made the UX better.

The PR will be included in the next major Forgejo release if I'm not wrong.
