I have signed up to Codeberg, enabled 2FA and never activated my e-mail addres, so I tried to verify it by sending the verification e-mail, which arrived as expected.
When I clicked on the activation link and put it my password, the page showed and "500 internal server error".
possible causes:
- extensions cutting off part of the URL(false flagging it as a tracking parameter);
- mail provider(proton) cutting of part of the URL(also false flagging it as a tracking parameter);
- maybe I should try to disable 2FA befora verifying my e-mail address?
EDIT: solved by using a lowercase email address! do you know why is this a thing?
