Crash on restore of backup transferred from other device #1854

A backup of XMPP accounts was created on one mobile device using the latest version of Conversations available at F-Droid at the time of writing (2.18.0). The backup files (.ceb) were transferred to another device, having the same Conversions version (also from F-Droid) installed, but not configured at all.
In the getting-started wizard on the "Join the Conversation" page, from the three-vertical-dots menu on the top right, the option "Restore backup" option is chosen. An almost empty page appears, with a "download-from-cloud" symbol on the top right. Clicking this symbol, a file selection page appears and the .ceb file is selected.
Now Conversations asks for the password of this account. After entering the password and pressing "Restore", Conversion crashes. An Android popup appears with the message "Conversions keeps stopping" and the options to choose from "App info" and "Close app".
New device is running LineageOS 22.2.
