migrating repository from Github → Codeberg doesn't enable the "Releases" tab #1818

hi there,

I've migrated a couple of repos from GitHub to Codeberg with the migration tool (web) UI:

and, most recently, (for the purpose of this bug report), codeberg.org/sbinet/liberation.

none of the migrated repositories have the "Releases" tab enabled, even though I did make sure (at least for codeberg.org/sbinet/liberation) to tick the "releases" button in the web UI, as instructed in

but, as can be seen in https://codeberg.org/sbinet/liberation, there's no "Releases" tab in that repo.

could we have a way to enable the "Releases" tab after the facts ?

(it happened to me that the migration tool choked on migrating releases for a few of my other repositories, so I didn't tick that button for those, thinking, "well, I'll just do that manually afterward")

thanks,
-s

thanks, I did notice that PR, but it isn't clear to me what will happen to already migrated projects.

  • will I have to create repositories anew to get the "releases" tab ?
  • will there be a way to enable that tab without going through the whole migration dance ?

thanks.

Yes, that's already an option. If you go to your settings, then go to the "units" item you will be able to enable releases there.
