Hi,

first things first... many thanks for your hard work! 🙏

Now, to the issue...

I registered enricostano.com domain at Cloudflare. Also the DNS records are managed at Cloudflare.

I tried to follow the guide but I'm still unable to make it work.

Expected result:

  1. Use the apex domain for Codeberg Pages using this repo but also for my email
  2. Go to https://enricostano.com and see my webpage

Current configuration:

Cloudflare DNS

Domain Type Data
enricostano.com A 217.197.91.145
enricostano.com AAAA 2001:67c:1401:20f0::1
enricostano.com TXT enricostanodotcom.enricostn.codeberg.page

Codeberg repo

.domains file's content:

enricostano.com

Current results

Firefox complains about it:

_The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete._

In attachment a screenshot of the infinite redirect with the ending NS_ERROR_REDIRECT_LOOP.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

enricostn changed title from (削除) Codeberg pages, Cloudflare and SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT (削除ここまで) to Codeberg pages, Cloudflare and NS_ERROR_REDIRECT_LOOP 2025年03月01日 20:16:58 +01:00

It seems that you've enabled cloudflare to proxy the domain that's not needed and should be disabled.

@Gusted hi, thanks for your time.

I've switched off the proxy now:

But I'm getting a new error: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT

Any idea about what's happening? Thanks!

I don't think this is sufficiently explained in the guide but please do either of these two steps:

  1. Rename the main branch to pages.
  2. Change the TXT record to main.enricostanodotcom.enricostn.codeberg.page
