Suddenly the text is formatted italic everywhere, is there a css bug somewhere?
This is a screenshot in Chrome's Incognito mode:

Has this been investigated as Chrome related?
I don't know, this bug occurs on Firefox and Edge as well, except in Firefox's private mode.
Edit:
I inspected the Codeberg website and saw that the site uses NotoSans font.
I use Windows 11 and have the font NotoSans installed on my computer, all the style variants:
NotoSans-Bold.ttf
NotoSans-BoldItalic.ttf
NotoSans-Italic.ttf
NotoSans-Regular.ttf
I'm not sure if this is relevant.
I removed the 4 ttf files and the wesbite is normal again, so I think the issue can be closed.
Wait, I'd like us to investigate this a bit more, there could be a flaw with how we deal with detecting the users' system font.
It's a bug in the Noto font: https://github.com/notofonts/latin-greek-cyrillic/issues/12
This was also recently investigated in the Matrix channel. https://matrix.to/#/%23codeberg.org%3Amatrix.org/%24ARa6YUFnG9p51duw8DAtyhFWeDvJMfZp3A-NXApm190?via=matrix.tu-berlin.de&via=matrix.org&via=turbo.ooo&via=catgirl.cloud
Interestingly, on another computer of mine which also has NotoSans installed, the entire website uses "NotoSans-Light" instead, this is definitely a bug in NotoSans font.
I'm not a regular Codeberg user, and I cannot say when it first appeared, but I noticed this issue today.
I had the same behaviour with Noto fonts in Firefox on Windows 11, and weirdly no problems in an icognito window. I upgraded my Noto fonts to the latest Github release (NotoSans 2.013 and all the others), restarted my browser, and it's fine now.
My buggy Noto Sans probably came bundled with the LibreOffice installer, the latest LO installer has Libre Sans Regular 2.012 in it which may still be affected
