Hi, I've searched though previous issues that touched on this topic. From what I see the answer always was that it's upstream bug or it was fixed with "repair repository" button. Upstream bugs are now closed and I've tried:

  • disabling+enabling repository
  • Repairing repository
  • editing pipeline script
  • another secret reference

Nothing of the above works. Repository in question:
https://ci.codeberg.org/repos/13463
https://codeberg.org/HSPOZ/www

Here is my testing branch: https://codeberg.org/HSPOZ/www/src/branch/fix-ci-2

This might fix it: https://github.com/woodpecker-ci/woodpecker/pull/4272

@pat-s Do you know if there are any plans to update Codebergs Woodpecker?

@anbraten how does the linked issue related here?

Yes, the CB instance should be updated soon.

In my case https://ci.codeberg.org/repos/8550, jobs created by push always fail with that error, but manual jobs always pass somehow...

@wilmhit

I just tried a manual run in your repo and encountered errors after the v3 upgrade: https://ci.codeberg.org/repos/13463/pipeline/42/errors

You might wanna resolve them and try again, maybe it works now after the v3 update.

As this hasn't been encountered in a while now, I'll close here. Likely a forge/network issue as well, as there haven't been any fixes in WP for this specifically.
