One of the key decisions we have to make is which window manager to use. We have several options.

If we go with full CDE, that forces us to use dtwm. I'm not 100% convinced that's our best bet.

There's FVWM and EMWM -- between the two I prefer EMWM.

And then there's this: Progman, a Windows 3.1-looking window manager that fits really well with Motif applications.
