Summary

App crashes at startup. After Deleting cache and appdata, it starts but weather map.org api key is not accepted. The key is however correct and active

Steps to reproduce

1. Start app
2. Provide api key

Expected behaviour

Key should be acceptedd

Actual behaviour

Message that key is incorrect

Environment data

• Android version:
  10
• Device model:
  Galaxy tab
• Stock or customized system:
  Stock
• Weather app version:
  3.2

This is probably due to the fact that the API will soon be shutdown (also, until now only keys that are about 1.5 years old have been supported).

Hi all,
I have the same Issue: The App closes directly after opening when city is Krefeld
But I found out: If I try another city (e.g. cologne) then it works.

I tried my old Api-Key and I made a new one.
The age of the Api-Key takes no effect, but changing the city helps to display any weather :-)

Note to Beowulf:
Maybe you could put a direct Link to codeberg into the App. That would help users a lot if something would not work.

While we are here writing: What about to add air pollution to the app ?

Solved. New keys still will unfortunately not work, as explained in another issue.

Not solved. I just want to put MY City in the App, not any other city.
It works only if I put cologne into it.
Until yesterday it worked well with "Krefeld", but from today it works only with "Cologne"

It's the same App behaviour on another Phone with Android7:
It just crashes with Krefeld.

With Cologne it's working, too.

And NO, I don't want to share my position with the app...
