[FR] Allow to save several places and quickly switch between them #82

I am not using location services. So, every time my location changes, I have to enter the new location to check the weather.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like to save several places and quickly switch between them. So, if I change location between several places, e.g. spending the weekends somewhere else than during the week, frequently, I would like to save these places and quickly switch between them. A solution would be to show the saved places where one usually enters the location, and then show the data for the selected location.

Apparently yes - thank you! From my perspective it would be a much better UX if one would not have to long press a location and then in a second step press "switch to"...
So, either immediately change to the location which is pressed long and delete by e.g. swiping to left/right, or even skip pressing long and immediately switch to the pressed location.

Short press is also reserved by showing more information. 🤔

Yes I know, but I would vote to change that. At least I am not having much use for the little more informatione. So, my personal opinion is that the UX could be improved in this regard, as explained in the previous post.

Just for the record: I use the application much and am very happy that it exists - so keep up the good work!! 😃

However, direct change without confirmation could also be surprising for the user. I will think about it...

Thank you for the kind words, I will try to continue the work. Currently there is only very little time. 😄

Alright! Of course, time is limited, same in my case. I will post here if a solution comes to my mind.
