It depends on the server used whether Spanish is supported.
You may need to find another server for Spanish support...

I can confirm the same issue with Spanish (code 'es'). At least I think it's the same. When the app starts it says (half-ass translated from French as it's my UI language)

"es" is not a a valid language - please notify if it is a valid code

My libretranslate instance has it, and is available with a web browser.

I'm using LibreTranslator from f-droid (v1.03) on LineageOS 19.1.
