When creating repos today with berg repo create --private private -n test-repo --default-branch main --description "test description", the repo is created, but the description and the privacy status are not set. Wondering if there's been an API change or something that would have broken this?

This was basically a bug! Thanks for discovering it and reporting it. I could reproduce it with the new testing stuff from #232 and fixed it there. If you still encounter similar issues, let me know and feel free to open another issue!
