Hi there, thank you for developing HelixNotes! I migrated from Obsidian and started using today.
I would like to request a feature that allows users to customize the date format for Daily Notes.
Currently, the Daily Notes title seems to be automatically generated based on the system locale. For example, in my Japanese environment, it generates a title like "3月 31, 2026".
This localized format is a bit unnatural for us, and more importantly, it makes it difficult to sort files chronologically.
Proposed Solution:
It would be fantastic if you could add an option in the Settings to define a custom date format using standard tokens (e.g., YYYY-MM-DD).
Why this is useful:
- File Sorting: Using a format like
2026年03月31日 allows notes to be sorted perfectly by name. (Even though it has Sort by options by Date Created.)
- Global Usability: Users around the world can set their preferred format regardless of their OS language settings.
Thank you for your time and for considering this request!
