Tables and Title breaking on Linux #213

Open

Hello,

I've been using the app for the past several days and here are some bugs that I've found.

Tables:

  • When creating the table, it spands the whole screen, which is not the best user experience

  • Creating a table with 2xX(doesn’t matter the other number) rows and when trying to shrink the left section first it doesn’t do anything. It just slides around, you need to click the right section first and then you are able to shrink the whole table

  • Video of risizing the tables

  • There is no keyboard combination to create a new row. Enter, ctrl + enter or shift + enter just create a new line inside the same row

  • When changing the note, the table broke and just was on a single row. Deleting the header row causes this issue to appear. Image attached

Title:

  • The title appears in the first row of the note, even if you remove it, nothing I do I was able to remove it
  • Steps to reproduce:
    • Create a new note
    • Write a title
    • Write text in the note
    • Click on a diff note
    • Return to the note - there are 2 titles now. One above the tags and one below. Removing the one below does nothing. Image attached

System: KUbuntu 24.04, KDE Plasma Version 5.27.12, X11
App: Helix Notes 1.3.3 deb package
