Description
The AI button is functional while in source edit mode, and even generates results, but "Apply to Note" button does nothing.
Steps to reproduce
- Ensure a model provider is set up correctly in the settings (I used Anthropic for the test)
- Create a new note or open an existing note with content
- Switch to source edit mode (hotkeys or button)
- Type some notes and highlight, or highlight existing notes
- Click the AI button (right click does nothing in source edit mode, which is likely expected behavior)
- Notice that the text is unhighlighted as soon as AI button is clicked
- Choose an option - maybe "translate" or "make longer" - and allow the AI to generate results
- Click "Apply to Note"
- The generated results are not added to the note
Expected behavior
Assumed to be one of the following:
- AI button is disabled in source edit mode, or
- AI generated results are applied to note
Tested on
Windows 11, Linux (AppImage)
