As it is by now to set a minimal workflow for task is by typing a lot... Because to set a "todo" as a task we have to manually "flag" with priority or a due date .... Only then we can filter it...
A possible workflow is make a "Task" note (Or task notes by any subjects we want) and then view it on the Task view... It's hard to imagine do this manually, and than go to the Task view to filter, rearrange, etc..So hard it turns on a task itself...
