Description and Table of Contents
Description
Due to the growing and ageing population in Asia today, it is estimated that the growth of dementia in the region will double and triple from 2010 to 2030 and 2050, respectively, which is much faster than the rate in Europe and America. Cerebrovascular disease (stroke) is the leading cause of death in most Asian countries, and causes a great socio-economic burden. This book brings together 11 experts in vascular cognitive impairment from Asia to present the most important issues and urgent problems being faced in the region in this regard. It will appeal to neurologists, physicians, and laypeople of medicine.
