CEC is a biennial conference on all aspects of cryogenic science and engineering. Researchers in this field study phenomena below ~ 150 K and the techniques and mechanisms for reaching and maintaining these temperatures. Papers presented at this conference cover topics such as cryogenic refrigeration and liquefaction, design of superconducting magnets, current leads and cables, basic heat transfer and fluid mechanics of liquid helium, liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen, design of small cryocooler units, measurement techniques for temperature, pressure and flow at cryogenic temperatures, cryogenic safety, thermodynamics, space cryogenics and high temperature superconductor devices.
