Ubuntu 18.04

Running Ubuntu 18.04 is not great. It has OBS 0.22 in its repository.

As OBS can use the GPU while recording I tried all 4 versions of nvEnc of which non worked :-( The feedback on the why was something like 'Not installed'. Checking the logs it reports that nvEnc was found. Very weird.

Snap

Using snap one gets 0.26.1 which is the latest. The snap sandbox got me into trouble. Was it configuration saving or recording?
