Jesse, does this affect Python 3.0? If not, then I will lower the priority and release 2.6.1 without it (there's always 2.6.2 :). If so, then we need to know if 1) it's really a release blocker; 2) what the ETA on a fix is. I would like to tag the 3.0 branch today.
