The problems you are having are less python related and more system-building/cross-development issues, and this is the wrong forum for hashing out this stuff out. I recommend building a linux-from-scratch system (http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/) on an ordinary PC to learn how the insides of linux machine works and how to fix things when they go wrong.
