To clarify with pseudocode, this is how it could work:
'' => [] # sep=None, keep_single_empty=False
'' => [''] # sep=None, keep_single_empty=True
'' => [] # sep=',', keep_single_empty=False
'a,,' => ['a','',''] # sep=',', keep_single_empty=False
I guess `keepempty=False` could be too easily confused for filtering out all empties. |
