For Tcl 8.5, you need to pass "threads" to build with threads; for 8.6, "nothreads" to build without. Also, in tcltk.props, the resulting DLL/LIB names are hardcoded with or without the 't' suffix. You'll need to fix that if you wish to switch the Tcl flavor.
