From the examples in msg220401, issue28385 changed it to print the object type in the message.
>>> format([], 'd')
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
TypeError: unsupported format string passed to list.__format__
>>> format((), 'd')
Traceback (most recent call last):

TypeError: unsupported format string passed to tuple.__format__
Would the change left on this issue be to create a PR for Terry's documetation patch?
Thanks! |
