tds333, the config says that 4.8.2 is being used, configure:3902: gcc --version >&5 gcc (GCC) 4.8.2 20140120 (Red Hat 4.8.2-15) Copyright (C) 2013 Free Software Foundation, Inc. This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. but perhaps the make is doing something else or the build goes wrong because shared is disabled.
