koobs-freebsd-* 3.x builds are now passing, but I'd like to make an additional (trivial) proposal, and that is:
If the tests that were previously failling, aren't *specifically* testing for 'backward compatible' timezone definitions, that the tests that currently use $ROOT/Iran timezone file, instead use a timezone file that is *not* contained within the 'backwards' (backwards compatible) timezone file in the zoneinfo distribution, which may or may not be installed in various environments.
For example, the tests could instead use Asia/Tehran |
