I believe for beginners it's not difficult to enter "pip install package". The trouble is with opening the command prompt, knowing about PATH and different Python versions etc. Terry mentioned GUI development to be more expensive. What about providing a special command for IDLE shell, similar to IPython's magic commands: %pip install package
