PyGoogle has been dead for 6-7 years at this point (probably longer), yet the newest urllib documentation (https://docs.python.org/3/howto/urllib2.html#id1) still refers to it in a footnote:
[1] Like Google for example. The proper way to use google from a program is to use PyGoogle of course.
This should probably be amended to remove the outdated reference altogether (the footnote itself can probably just go).
While we're at it: the user agent version strings are _really_ old - MSIE 5.5 and MSIE 6.0. I know they are just illustrative, but couldn't we at least update them to something from the last decade? :P |
