Better patch, along the lines of my original thought:
- byarrayformat converts bytearray to bytes
- calls bytesformat (now _PyBytes_Format) to do the heavy lifting
- uses PyByteArray_FromObject to tranform back to bytearray
Now working on in-place format. |
